Andy Roddick hasn’t struggled against many players on the ATP Tour the last few years - except one.

Roger Federer has been the No. 1 player in the world for nearly a decade. He’s quite possibly the best player the game’s ever seen. And Andy couldn’t ever seem to beat him.

In fact, he had lost to him 11 straight times. But that was before Thursday.

Roddick took down Federer in three sets at the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscaine Open, winning 6-3 in the third set to move on to the semifinals.

Oh yeah, to top things off, he just got engaged to Brooklyn Decker.

Who’s Brooklyn Decker, you ask? She’s only one of the top Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models and hottest women on the planet. (And from Charlotte, incidentally. Jsut sayin’.)

If that isn’t a good week, I don’t know what it.
