The Cubs needed a win Saturday.

They’d lost two of their last three games, including a bad one at home to the last place Nationals on Friday - one in which they’d been up 4-0 at one point of the game.

Aramis Ramirez took it upon himself to change all that around.

A-Ram clubbed two three-run home runs against Washington on Saturday, as the Cubs won convincingly, 9-2.

Ramirez has now hit safely in 15 of his last 19 games and is hitting nearly .400 in the month of August, with four home runs and 17 RBI in 18 games.
