Astros Defense

Man, when was the last time you saw a team make FIVE errors in a single ballgame?
Well, that’s what happened in Arlington on Friday night, as the Astros went to play the Rangers and dropped an ugly 16-8 affair.
A lot of that can easily be blamed on the glovework of Houston’s defense.
In fact, only nine of Texas’ 16 runs were even earned runs. The other seven came by way of the E.
That definitely hasn’t been indicative of the way they’ve been playing this season, as Houston has played extremely well, working their way to a 24-19 record and the fourth-best record in the National League.
But five errors in a game is unacceptable. When you score eight runs in a game, you should be winning those - handily.
Because of that, the Astros defense will be forced to accept this batch of Tough Love from us today.
