Brownies

Experts like to utilize the well-worn cliche, “[Insert Sport Here] is a team game.”
Even if that’s not the case, what the previously 1-3 Cleveland Browns did against the defending Super Bowl champs Monday Night can clearly be classified as a “team win.”
Derek Anderson guided a big-play offense up and down the field with relative ease, making the Giants vaunted D look downright rec league. The Browns converted 9-13 third downs.
Braylon Edwards was back to his usual acrobatic self, hauling in a 70-yard strike while totaling five catches for 154 yards. In all, six different Browns receivers had a reception that went for double-digit yardage.
The defense intercepted Eli Manning three times - returning one for a touchdown - and although the Giants were able to run the ball effectively, the Blue Man Group couldn’t quite punch it in when needed.
The special teams kept the Giants playing on a long field all evening. Romeo Crennel was daring and went for two to be sure the game was pushed out of reach. Jamal Lewis chewed up clock and iced the game.
All this, and Kellen Winslow wasn’t even in the lineup.
MAD LOVE to the Browns for knocking the defending champs from the ranks of the unbeaten with total domination, saving their season in the process.
