Carl Crawford

To be honest, this could’ve gone to about five or six different Tampa Bay players today, but I’ll try to get it down to just one by going with Crawford.

When someone goes 5-for-5 and you don’t immediately know they’re getting MAD LOVE from you, then there were some big performances going on.

Crawford was huge for the Rays in Game 4, hitting two singles, two doubles and a triple in Tampa’s 13-4 domination of the Red Sox, leading his team to a 3-1 series lead and just one win from their first-ever World Series appearance.

He scored three times and drove in two runs in the process, and has now gone 9-for-18 in the ALCS to date.

It’s not over yet, though, as the Red Sox have proven before, when they came back from being down 3-0 to take down the Yankees in 2004.

Crawford and his team of young stars will have a LOT to say about that, though.

And for his huge night Tuesday, we’re giving him some serious MAD LOVE for putting the Rays in the great position they’re in right now.
