D-Backs

The mighty are falling - and falling fast.
The Diamondbacks went into Los Angeles and got swept by the Dodgers this weekend, falling a game and a half back in the N.L. West in the process.
They’ve now dropped seven of their last 10 games, while the Dodgers have won eight in a row.
Newcomer Jon Rauch was the goat in this one, allowing two runs in the seventh inning with the score tied at 3-3.
And it’s been the men on the hill who have been the true culprits in most of the losses. Both Brandon Webb and Dan Haren got abused in their most recent starts and have been equally terrible over the past few weeks.
I hate to do it, because I actually like this team, but the Diamondbacks deserve some TOUGH LOVE for the way they’ve been playing lately.
