Will the big guy ever find his way in this league again?

Eric Gagne seems to have hit rock bottom after giving up two more runs in the ninth inning of a game today.

The outing upped his season ERA to 6.89 and dropped his record to 1-2 with just nine saves in 17 appearances.

The worst part of it, though? After the game, he asked manager Ned Yost to take him out of the closer role.

Yes, he asked out of it, saying “I don’t deserve that ninth inning right now. It’s that simple.”

He may have been on his way out of it to begin with, but to ASK out of it when that’s the exact reason you were signed in the offseason?

I find that I little suspect.

And because of that, Eric Gagne earns some Tough Love from us today.

he should frickin; give them back their 10 mil and hand in his jock strap. he has no use for it. his balls are nonexistent.
