Graham Harrell

The seventh-ranked Red Raiders of Texas Tech came into Saturday’s game against #1 Texas with the backing of an entire town.
If Graham Harrell ran for mayor of that town today, he’d probably get elected in a landslide.
The Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback of Texas Tech led a late drive, capped by a touchdown pass to All-American receiver Michael Crabtree with just one second left on the clock, giving his team a 39-33 win in front of 55,000 screaming fans dressed in red and black.
For the day, Harrell had a ridiculous 474 yards on 36-of-53 passing with two touchdowns. Thanks to that huge day, he now leads the nation is passing, with 3,147 yards through nine games. He’s also third in the country with 28 touchdowns.
The Red Raiders are now 9-0 on the year and could be ranked as high as #3 in the nation come Sunday afternoon when the new polls come out.
However, they still have incredibly difficult games left with Oklahoma State next week and at Oklahoma two weeks from now. If they can somehow get through both of those games unscathed, Harrell could easily find himself quarterbacking in the national championship game.
It’s a stretch, but still possible. And for that, we’re giving Graham Harrell some big-time MAD LOVE today!!
