Inoke Funaki

It’s not often I get to go away from the continental United States to dish out some TOUGH LOVE, but today it’s necessary.

The Rainbow Warriors of Hawai’i are actually more competitive this year than many eople thought they were going to be.

The took down Fresno State a couple weeks ago, then took down Louisiana Tech last week to put together a most little two-game run.

Sure, this isn’t your Colt Brennan Hawai’i team, but they have a lot of talent still.

Unfortunately, quarterback Inoke Funaki didn’t live up to his end of the bargain Friday night in Boise. Funaki threw FIVE interceptions to go with his donut on the touchdown side.

That isn’t exactly what the Warriors needed when they’re going into the house of the 15th-ranked team in the land. They needed everyone to step up, and that sadly didn’t happen.

Sorry, Inoke, but I have no choice but to dish out some TOUGH LOVE to you today, my friend. You’ll bounce back. I’m sure of it.
