OK ... so ... this is definitely not the start to the season the Ducks were hoping for.
Three games up, three games down and Anaheim’s looking at an ugly 0-3 record.
In fact, none of the games have even been close.
The person most affected by it has been goalie Jean-Sebestien Giguere.
Giggy allowed five goals in just 22 shots Tuesday night, as the Ducks lost to the Kings 6-3. The sixth goal was scored on an empty net.
In the three games, he’s now allowed 13 goals, as Anaheim hasn’t given up less than four in a game yet.
That’s just not gonna get it done. I know the Ducks aren’t supposed to be Stanley Cup contenders this season or anything, but getting blown out like this every night is gonna get real old, real quick.
Giguere’s an All-Star caliber goalie who deserves better than to be given TOUGH LOVE by us like this.

Hell yes, J.S. deserves Tough Love! This guy is a mockery of his position. “Giggy” and his pads are like letting a Major League pitcher throw off a step-ladder, or allowing Randy Moss to use a fishing net to catch the ball. Seriously, I think of that alien from Men In Black - you know, that tiny guy that pilots a human body from a cockpit in the head - if you started removing J.S.’s pads, he’d end up being 3’9” and 61lbs.
