Joe Thornton

After scoring in seven straight games, Joe Thornton was shut out in his last one.
He was determined not to let that happen again.
Against Toronto last night, Thornton had his highest scoring game of the season, getting a goal and dishing out three assists in a 5-2 win as his Sharks won their ninth straight contest, and their 16th in their last 17 games.
San Jose easily has the game’s best record, and with the three assists, Thornton now ranks second in the NHL with 23.
Add in the seven goals and he’s sixth in the league in overall points as well.
He’s the backbone to the best team in the game today, and that’s why we’re giving Joe Thornton some MAD LOVE today!!
