It has been a wild ride for Liverpool fans over the last several years, but it is starting look like this could finally be the year.

Over the last five days, the Reds defeated perennial Premiership powerhouses Chelsea, who were tied with Pool at the top of the table, and yesterday an up-and-coming Portsmouth side. Not to mention the fact they have already knocked off last year’s Premier League champions, Manchester United.

Led by England international star and Liverpool icon, Steven Gerrard, the Reds remain the only undefeated team in the Premiership and have only conceding 6 goals in those ten matches.

Although this team could often be confused with the Spanish national team, the Reds have the talent from the top to the bottom of their roster and now are capable of winning even without their talismanic striker and European Championship hero Fernando Torres on the pitch.
