Oh, the horror.

It should’ve been such an innocent event.

Sarah Palin comes to town to drop the puck at the St. Louis Blues game Friday night, and the next thing you know the Blues goalie goes down with an injury.

Yeah, if you haven’t heard already, on his way out on the ice, Manny Legace tripped over the red carpet set out for the VP nominee and injured his hip.

He toughed it out and played the first period, but aggravated it on the first shot that came his way. He eventually would give up two goals in 12 shots and exited the game at the first intermission.

In addition to sitting out the rest of the night, Legace actually may have to miss the team’s next game as well.

The Blues would go on to lose to the Kings at home 4-0 and may have lost their goalie.

For that, we have to give Legace a little Tough Love for not watching his step!
