Raider TD Celebrations

The title of this article may seem a little misleading. I can understand that.

I guess I may need to explain a little.

You see, I know the Raiders posted a big, fat donut at home against the Falcons yesterday. That part of the story is impossible to ignore.

However, the funny part about it is that this past week in practice, the coaching staff made it a point to allow the players to work on their touchdown dances.

Yeah, you heard me right. Their touchdown celebrations.

Even JaMarcus Russell admitted to it, saying the rationale was that the more you practiced celebrating touchdowns, the more you’ll wanna have that feeling in a game, thus the more touchdowns you’re likely to score in games.

So far, the experiment’s failed.

I love the balls it takes to do that, but then you can’t go out and lay a bagel in your own building against an average team.

For that, the Raiders deserve a large dose of Tough Love today.
