Ray Rice

Thanks to the week-in, week-out status of Willis McGahee, the Baltimore running game has been the most inconsistent position in football this year.

Even New England’s and Kansas City’s quarterbacking situation hasn’t been as iffy as this one has been each Sunday.

But Ray Rice finally got himself healthy enough to come to the rescue this week, running for a career high of 154 yards on just 21 carries, leading the Ravens to a nice 37-27 road win in Cleveland.

He had only run for 185 yards coming into this game, and he now looks to be the front runner for carries the rest of the year.

With Le’Ron McClain getting just a handful of short yardage touches, and with McGahee out yet again, Rice needed to have a big game, and he did.

And with this one big outing, the rookie already looks to be the most influential player to ever come out of Rutgers.

And for that alone, we’re giving some MAD LOVE to Ray Rice today!
