Saturday MLB
Without any hoops or hockey to talk about, it’s on to some Saturday baseball.
I love going with Ervin Santana and the Angels today. I know they already took Game 1 in this three-game freeway series, but Ervin’s been a beast this season, which makes the -130 look a pretty good option.
The Braves are also a nice play at home today. They have Tim Hudson going against the recently recalled from the DL Rich Harden, and the line’s just -135. At home, that’s a play I’m willing to make.
And the Detroit/Arizona game is a battle of rookie hurlers, in Armando Galarraga for the Tigers and Max Scherzer for the Snakes. These guys have both been terrific since their call-ups, and neither team is hitting the ball at all. That said, the 9.5-run over/under is way too high.

***Atlanta -135 over Oakland***
***Detroit/Arizona UNDER-9.5***
