Vanderbilt FB

It’s not often anyone gets a chance to give some MAD LOVE to Vanderbilt Football, but today is one of those opportunities.
The Commodores pulled off an important win Thursday night, dominating the second half of their game with South Carolina and atking it down, 24-17.
It’s also not often Vandy gets a home game on national television, so that made this one extra sweet for the locals, who have endured decades of tough going when it comes to the football program.
After also winning last week, the ‘Dores are 2-0 on the year with a tough home tilt next week against a surprisingly strong Rice team.
It was a big win for coach Bobby Johnson as well, since he’s a Columbia, South Carolina, native. He was glowing afterwards.
“I was very proud of our guys, the way they played in the second half. We overcame a lot.”
So, congrats fellas. You deserve this long week to celebrate your temporarily undefeated season. Do it right.
In the meantime, you’ll be getting a nice helping of MAD LOVE from us today!
